Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on improving flexibility, strength, balance, and posture. It was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century and is based on a series of controlled movements that engage the body and mind.
Pilates exercises can be done on a mat or using specialized equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair. These exercises typically involve slow, precise movements that engage the core muscles and other muscle groups throughout the body.
Pilates is popular for its ability to improve overall physical fitness, reduce stress, and help prevent injury. It is also often used in rehabilitation and physical therapy programs to aid in the recovery of injuries or chronic conditions.
